Ohhhhh what a magnificent night it was
The show was awesome!! (of course!!) I will try to start from the very beginning and remember all I can. Sorry If I mention Mistoffelees a lot, my eyes always wonder to the tuxedo, I cannot help myself.

First off, I did not go in my CAT suit. I thought it would be inappropriate, so instead we did our faces up, and just wore CATS ears and tails (My Bomba tail, and Danika's Mistoffelees tail)  and we wore our CATS stuff (CATS sweater, and shirt).

So when we get there (after panic of being late and asking a million people for directions) We see a line up for the merchandise, Hardly anything is set up so we think "Hey, they are probably putting out the stuff now to be bought AFTER the show" NOPE! They ran out of everything!! D: I wanted to get some new stuff ohh well.

So we are sitting in our seats on the first balcony. We do not need to wait long, and the room goes dark The entire stage gets decorated with green and yellow lights the shape of the CATS eye logo to the intro song. The actors come out and dance around the dark stage holding big glowing eyes of their own, Danika gets blinded by the strobe lights and we both have massive heart attacks and die.

We are revived by the opening of the show, when Demeter walks onto the stage, only to be scared by the car lights. The rest of the cast follow to the music (Munkustrap, Skimble, Cassandra and a few I could not recognize yet.)

The show pretty much goes as it normally would, But I should mention that Tantomile and Coricopat were in this one They were cut in the last show, so I was over joyed to see them again. Played by Rachel Boon and Luacas Thompson.

Compared to the movie, the dancing was at a slower pace, with less radical moves. It did not bother me much because I understand the difficulty in the steps and live shows need to be less strenuous, since they are also singing live. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer were breathless by the end of their song, But this happens a lot during live shows. never the less they were AMAZING. It is always a treat to see the windmill live.

Victoria's solo was stunning. I adored her actor! She was very fit and beautiful, every woman in the audience scoff in jealousy at her body. She was very flexible, elegant and graceful. The perfect actor for Victoria.

Unfortunately Munkustrap sung the Invitation, but Mistoffelees was still the one to jump on stage and dance with Victoria. It was very common, Misto used his magic to control her body with some hand motions, scratch up her leg then dance around with her, inviting the rest of the Jellicles onto the stage.

Jennyanydots song was beginning and Mistoffelees stayed close to Munkustrap while the others made room, his hands danced around a bit (as if using his magic to move something across stage) He fell to his knees at Jennys name and crawled into the crowd. Pouncival and Tumble were there waiting for him, laughing, poking fun and eventually pushing him away.
Mistoffelees did not take his lightly, he hissed and scratched at them (scaring them) before sitting in front of the pipe with Cassandra.

After Munkustrap's flattering introduction, Tumble and Pouncival opened the oven, with Mistoffelees doing more of his magic tricks in the back. (As if his magic had opens the oven, when it was clearly Pounce and Tumble XD) he then strutted backstage, proud of himself.
Demeter, Jellylorum and Bombalurina sat at the back and sang, Mistoffelees re-entered with Skimble and nuzzled the pretty ladies (it was very cute, Demeter and Mistoffelees seemed very close in this production. CUTE)
Jennyanydots song was filled with entertainment, the tap dancing was spot on, I really enjoyed getting to see it all (rather then just the cut version from the movie) The roach costumes were also so cute, I am itching to draw someone in it. Jenny was loud and hilarious.

I LOVED the Rum Tum Tugger in this production, he was so energetic, and fun! He was more likeable then a lot of productions to, less like a self centered ego-trip and more like a playful, fun loving adult. His hip thrusting was timed perfectly, making a lot of sexual suggestions at supposedly innocent words like "thrived" and Mistoffelees introduction.
During the play Tugger pulled a little girl from the audience to the stage and danced with her, I am usually jealous of the person picked but that was just TO DAMN CUTE.

BustopherJones actor dubbled as Gus, and Growltiger. He was a great dancer, but I thought he looked pretty small (maybe it was just me) But the song was entertaining none the less. Mistoffelees had a lot less to do in this version since Skimble took over a lot of his movie parts.

Mistoffelees had the cutest voice for his line "Old Deuteronomy", he sounded so sweet and young. He ran off stage to fetch Old D while Munkustrap and Tugger sang his song, Tugger adding a hilaious twist with his pelvic thrusts and gestures.

Alonzo was crazy flirty during the Jellcile ball, his hips were crazy while addressing Jemima and Victoria. They both seemed very fond of him also.
Another thing Squee worthy was Mistoffelees dancing with Mungojerrie, all the jellicles paired off to do a few moves and Misto ended up with Mungo, stepping in sync and rubbing butts together. I need to do some art for them >w<
Plato and Victoria were beautiful in their dance, they were more...heated then I remember from before. It started with a small nuzzle then they pretty much attacked each other with love and nuzzles XD It was less calming then most productions, Victoria didn't even back away at first (If I remember correctly)
When the cats were done napping they broke away and Mistoffelees hips were mad crazy! like BAM! BAM!.... BAM!
Mistoffelees gave us a sneak peek of his Conjuring turn while the girls danced around him, when he was finished he ran out to the front of the stage and continued to dance, like a boss.

Griz ruined their dancing of course, but her song was beautiful anyway. Very touching and sad. The actor did an amazing job.

Gus's song was a lot more entertaining then the movie, I found it very bouncy and fun. During his song Mistoffelees and Tugger had a poke attack around this time in the show, It was precious. Tug can be such a bother sometimes, but hey Mistoffelees was egging him on by poking back.
Gus played an amazing Growltiger he had a very strong voice fit for a pirate. Jellylorum had one of my fave voices in the show, she sounded beautiful especially in Oprah during Growltiger. I knew Griddle was my fave queen for good reason! I wanted to snuggle hug her the entire time. Mistoffelees jumped on Munkustraps back during some of the singing, it was a very cute dance move that brought this little fan-girl a lot of joy! not to mention their totally obvious hugging as Growl and Griddle dance, Just before they were sent to bed.

Skimble's song was one of my favorites, it was very clear with great dancing and interactions between all the CATS. I loved every bit of it from the sleeping in the corner to the building of the train! He took a lot of Mistoffelees parts, but I am glad to have seen him in the spot light more.

The girls tore appart the stage for Macavity, I loved the way they said each word, it sounded very unique from the movie. Both Bomba and Demeter had beautiful, strong voices.

Macavity kicked Munkustraps butt, like dystored him. The fight was a whole new experience, the choreography had neat little twists and add ins. and the music sound very rock and roll with dark red light setting a dark and evil mood. Macavity took down at least 4 boys before he ran off stage, cutting the electricity as he did.

Tugger hip thruster almost every word in Mistoffelees songs, it was very slashy and suggestive. I loved the part where Tug takes off Mistos jacket, then when they linked arms and high-kicked together, perfect picture since Victoria was pulling back the rainbow ribbon How Perfect.
Mistoffelees had a lot of really cute dance moves, he was very talented. I always enjoy the Conjuring CATS music and dance number. The skills it takes to pull off that character must take a lot of work! Chaz has my approval.


Other Characters:
Pouncival and Tumblebrutus: They were the clowns of the show, They were always being energetic, rambunctious and crazy. They would often try showing off, or get some of the more famous cats attention (Busto for example) They were so cheerful, a real pleasure to watch.

Cassandra: She always stands out in these shows. She has a very unique look compared to the others. She was very flexible and could remain still for long periods of time. I just wish she had the spot light a little more. Her reaction to being chosen by Mistoffelees was very cute, I saw a little fan-girl in her when she seal-clapped.

Sillabub: Sillabub took over a lot of Cetty's parts, becoming Tuggers #1 fan girl (screaming his name at introduction, and Squeeling for Tugger during his song) This gave Sillabub a lot more attention the Jem did in the movie. She had the same design as Jemima from the movie. Her voice was lovely and a pleasure to listen to.
